Blake Cross received a BSc. in geophysical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2017 and a MSc. in mineral exploration and mining geology from Curtin University in Perth, WA, Australia in 2019.
During graduate school, Blake worked for Terra Resources and Petrophysics. In this role he regularly performed a suite of petrophysical measurements including magnetic susceptibility and remanence, conductivity, chargeability, density, and sonic velocity. Responsibilities also included data compilation, petrophysical report writing, and assistance with geophysical exploration projects.
Following his graduation and return to the North America he began working for SJ Geophysics, initially as a field technician and eventually as an operator and crew chief. He carried out a variety of geophysical surveys across much of the western United States and in Finland. Primary responsibilities included data QA/QC, field logistics, training, and crew safety.
Blake joined Condor Consulting in May of 2021.
